Introducing Cedar Stow, a beautiful 2-story craftsman home located two blocks from Downtown Douglas Center Street, offering distant views of the Kalamazoo River. This accommodation includes 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, spacious living and dining rooms and a large well stocked kitchen. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, the living room has a newly purchased cool gel memory queen size sofa mattress. Fire pit, grill, and bikes are available beginning April 15. Explore all the Art Coast has to offer in Downtown Douglas located 2 blocks away, within walking distance from the home. This quaint town features a variety of local fare and restaurants, shops, and galleries. Guests can also enjoy convenient access to the kayak and paddle boarding launches for the Kalamazoo River. A one mile drive across the Kalamazoo River will take you to Saugatuck, Michigan which has additional shopping and dining options. Recognized as one of the top beaches in the country, the award-winning Oval Beach is a beautiful destination located just 2 miles northwest. Cedar Stow provides 4 complimentary beach cruiser bikes for our guests to use during their stay. This is a fantastic way to explore Saugatuck and Douglas and take advantage of the Blue Star Trail. The cities of Douglas and Saugatuck offer the Interurban, a demand response public bus system. The Interurban offers curb to curb service in both the cities of Douglas and Saugatuck and all of Saugatuck Township. Cyndi's Moonlight Express is a local taxi service serving the Douglas and Saugatuck areas. They are open daily from 12pm-2am. Saugatuck Scooter Rental has scooters available to rent to explore Saugatuck and Douglas with ease. They are located just off of Blue Star Highway and are open daily from 10am-4pm. *Parking in downtown Douglas and Saugatuck is extremely limited during the summer season.
